A transmissive display is a completely transparent liquid crystal display. Since liquid crystals themselves do not emit light, transmissive LCDs require a backlight source to clearly present information. Such screens can function normally in low-light environments, transmitting the backlight color, and can achieve rich color effects when combined with silk-screening and color films.
Transmissive displays typically need to be used with LEDs. The backlight can be customized according to customer requirements, ensuring clear display performance under different brightness levels. Negative mode products such as DFSTN and VA can only be used in fully transmissive mode, while positive mode products such as TN, HTN, and STN may also be used in fully transmissive mode. Other performance characteristics of these products are fully consistent with standard LCD screens, and they can pass rigorous environmental tests. They also meet the parameter requirements for industrial, medical, automotive, and home appliance applications. With over 10,000 customized models ranging from EDC001 to EDC26062, all products comply with RoHS 2.0 and REACH regulations.
